Greetings! My name is Melissa Jackowski and I am a registered massage therapist living in Drayton Valley. In 2015 I moved from Ontario, and in that time I’ve worked many different roles including that at Drayton Valley Hospital taking care of individuals in the physiotherapy program as well as those individuals in the Long Term Care unit. My post secondary education took me to Humber College where I completed the Rehabilitation Assistant program. After college, I began my professional career at Lakeridge Health Oshawa as a Rehabilitation Assistant on the Rehabilitation unit. Through my time with Lakeridge Health Corporation my roles changed as I supported various programs. After a few years, I decided to go back to school and enrolled in the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto. Upon graduating in 2004, I took up employment as a massage therapist at the Newcastle Massage Clinic.in Newcastle, Ontario. During my 3 years with this business, I was able to develop my skills along side a knowledgeable mentor and fellow Massage Therapist. During this time, my husband and I welcomed our 2 charming children into the family. Working in the clinic was a great opportunity for me to further my understanding and to see first hand the benefits of my craft. With a young family and my changing responsibilities, I opted to take my services into the mobile direction. I thoroughly enjoyed working within the Durham region which has led me to today and wanting to bring my services to Drayton Valley and the surrounding areas.
