Guided Animal Tours : $15 per Human

This is our feed, meet and greet animals guided tour. We love our animals and we want you to love them too by interacting and learning about them. You will be able to get pictures with the animals, collect eggs from the chickens, pet and brush a pig, pet and brush a goat or even walk them (we know it’s everyone’s dream to walk a goat we are here to serve) . Brush and pet a horse if they’re in the mood, Pet and shake a paw with our Dogs- their kisses are free! Animals you will encounter are listed below.

  • Bunnies you can pet, hold and feed
  • Horses you can pet and feed (you can try to hold a horse but we find them very heavy and a little dramatic)
  • Chickens you can feed and pet through a fence
  • Dogs you can pet, shake a paw, throw a stick, give a belly rub but please do not feed them (they will try to convince you they are starving and haven’t eaten in weeks but it’s a lie)
  • Goats you can pet and feed. If you are lucky and the time is right it maybe possible for you to walk a goat. (We know everyone’s lifelong dream is to walk a goat-We are here to serve!)
  • Pot Belly & Kune Kune Pigs that you can pet, and feed. Once again, you can attempt to hold them, but they are very large and heavy. (If you think a horse is dramatic you are in for the surprise!)
  • Llama and Cows They are not friendly, pictures only please.
  • Baby Animals Depending on the time of year we may also have many baby animals like chicks, kids (we mean goats) or piglets. To find out which babies are still babies and available to see please give us a call or check out our Social media pages at the bottom of the page.

Please Do Not Feed These Animals (even If they act like they have never been fed in their lives)

  • Llama and Cows are not friendly, pictures only please.
  • Peacocks are too shy, pictures only please.
  • Barn Cats there are friendly outdoor cats that will approach you for pets or even allow you to hold them. Some days they’d rather be left alone so be respectful and do not chase them
  • Dogs there are overly friendly dogs that will approach you for pets, chase thrown sticks and most likely try to kiss you. Do not chase them- or they will chase you back in an endless game of tag you will never win.

This guided tour will take you out on the trails to discover more our about our wild animal friends like birds, mammals and amphibians as well as how to spot them, native plants, flowers and their uses. A child favourite is “who’s scat is that?” where we identify animals by their poop. Everybody poops we are no strangers to it on the ranch. Depending on the season you could get to try some wild berries (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, bunch berries, gooseberries) or see the rare Western Woodland Lilly in bloom.
