BearPaw Ranch is a family-run guest ranch with cabins and campground near Drayton Valley Alberta. Onsite we have our BearSpaw Holistic Market & Crystal Shop with holistic treatment rooms for rest, relaxation and soul rejuvenation- all in the great Canadian outdoors! We have many outdoor activities, animals to feed and pet, as well as trails and a variety of guided tours for all ages.

After having a long day of a long day of outdoor fun in the sun (which lasts until 11pm in the summer) you take a shower and go to your pre-booked massage to relax. Current Events 2025 BearPaw Ranch

BearPaw Ranch always has something happening! Every month we have New Moon & Full Moon Ceremonies to release what no longer serves and invite in new manifestations. We host healing retreats and offer a variety of spiritual and holistic healing classes for Reiki & Access Bars as well.

Every year we host charity events & Craft Markets with games and activities for the whole family to raise money for our local community during the Summer and one in December at the DV Night Market in our off season. We think it’s important to give back to the wonderful community of Drayton Valley who has supported us for 10 years running as of April 2025 and look forward to you joining us at any of our events, classes or retreats this year.

About Our Guest Ranch Property

We are located a stone’s throw from the Cowboy Trail, horse trails, Pembina River. We have 5kms of hiking trails in rich pine-scented forests that characterize the Alberta area where our guests explore and forage for mushrooms and berries in our 90 acres of forested land. Opening season for Day Use and camping is May Long Weekend (typically the 3rd weekend of May -weather pending). Holistic treatments are available year round. We live on the property so feel free to call us in off season for market access.

Receptions

Our quaint secluded location may be perfect for your large event whether it be a wedding, birthday or family reunion. Our cabins can sleep up to 26 people and you have room for camping. We have a large event tent if you wish to hold a reception and enough space to seat up too 100 people outdoors for dinner.

Recreation

Bearpaw Ranch has a full range of outdoor fun! We offer walking and riding trails, amazing scenery, and pony rides. We are only 2KM from Pembina River access and Drayton Valley Horse Trails
