BearPaw Ranch has the following to keep you busy on the ranch!
***WE ARE SET UP FOR YOU TO BRING YOUR OWN HORSE. WE DONT DO GUIDED TRAIL RIDES OR RENT OUT OUR HORSES***
- Playground for the kids
- Picnic tables with board games attached
- Horseshoe pits
- Yard games such as Ladder ball, bean bag toss, toys for children and toddlers.
- Farm hand for the day – Guests can help us collect fresh chicken eggs, bottle feed a baby cow, feed the pigs, feed / groom horses
- 5 km of hiking / horse trails on the property that includes a scavenger hunt. Find all the items and get a prize from the BearSpaw – Holistic Market on site! (BearSpaw should be up and running starting MAY LONG WEEKEND 2022)
- BearSpaw – Holistic Market. Rock, Gem, Fossil, and Crystal Store! Handmade items from local businesses. Himalayan Salt room. Treatment room where you can book a Massage, Reiki, Spiritual Response Therapy and MORE!
- Scavenger hunt
- Petting zoo for all to enjoy: Animal food can be purchased at the BPR Store.
- Bunnies you can pet, hold and feed.
- Horses you can pet and feed, you can try to hold a horse but we find them very heavy and a little dramatic.
- Chickens you can feed and pet through a fence.
- Goats you can pet and feed. If you are lucky and the time is right it maybe possible for you to walk a goat. We know everyone’s lifelong dream is to walk a goat. We are here to serve.
- Pot belly pigs that you can pet, and feed. Once again, you can attempt to hold them, but they are very large and heavy. If you think a horse is dramatic you are in for the surprise.
- Llama and Cows. Not friendly, pictures only please.
- Ducks pet, feed
- Soon – Baby mini Donkey (waiting to be born).

- ***NEW*** GUIDED HORSE BACK RIDING: You have asked and we have delivered. We are very happy to say we have partnered with The Y-Knott Ranch which is 25min away. Give Teri a call or email and she will be happy to set up a trail ride for those that do not have their own horse.
- Pembina River Tubing: Floating down the river, you will enjoy the 62 meter gorge created from the Ice Age, various wildlife, and the joy of relaxing while the current drifts along this amazing and winding river. Their service will provide you with tube and life jacket rentals, as well as a shuttle service to bring you back to your vehicle. For more information check out their website:

- Seba Beach Ice Cream Stop and Mini Golf: Head to Seba Beach and hang out for the day off the bank of Wabamun lake. Once you are done sun bathing check out their ice cream shop, mini golf, and inflatable castle! It will be fun for the whole family.
- Brazeau Dam: Enjoy the wild life, bird watching, fishing, and geo catching
- Drayton Valley Golf Club: A beautiful course with tree lined fairways and bent grass greens awaits. Each hole is unique, providing a variety of vistas and challenges for golfers of all skill levels.
- Alberta Farmers Markets: Do you enjoy traveling around and finding local hand made treasures. Check out the farmers markets in Drayton Valley, Entwhistle, Seba Beach and more!
- Drayton Valley indoor Pool: Located at 5030 -48th Street, Park Valley Pool is a well-maintained indoor swimming pool. It’s 25 metres long with five swimming lanes, and it features a ramp entry into a wading area, two slides, a Tarzan rope, a hot tub and a viewing area with concession machines. It truly has something for everyone.
- Drayton Valley Paddling Club: Canoe or kayak down the Pembina River or North Saskatchewan River!
