Our Petting Zoo Animals
We love our animals and we want you to love them too by interacting and learning about them in our petting zoo. Unless you booked a guided tour already, animal food can be purchased at the BPR Store for $5 a bag. While the veggies are fresh for our animals we do not recommend them for human consumption-eat at your own runny poop risk.
- Bunnies you can pet, hold and feed
- Horses you can pet and feed (you can try to hold a horse but we find them very heavy and a little dramatic)
- Chickens you can feed and pet through a fence
- Goats you can pet and feed. If you are lucky and the time is right it maybe possible for you to walk a goat. (We know everyone’s lifelong dream is to walk a goat-We are here to serve!)
- Pot Belly & Kune Kune Pigs that you can pet, and feed. Once again, you can attempt to hold them, but they are very large and heavy. If you think a horse is dramatic you are in for the surprise.
- Baby Animals Depending on the time of year we may also have many baby animals like chicks, kids (we mean goats) or piglets. To find out which babies are still babies and available to bottle feed please give us a call or check out our Social media pages at the bottom of the page.
Please Do Not Feed These Animals (even if they act like they have never been fed in their lives)
- Llama and Cows are not friendly, pictures only please.
- Peacocks are too shy, pictures only please.
- Barn Cats there are friendly outdoor cats that will approach you for pets or even allow you to hold them. Some days they’d rather be left alone so be respectful and do not chase them or our dogs will chase you
- Dogs there are overly friendly dogs that will approach you for pets, chase thrown sticks and most likely try to kiss you. Do not chase them- or they will chase you back in an endless game of tag you will never win.
